The unions in occupied Aden called for a civil disobedience in rejection of the collapsed economic and living conditions and the policy of starvation and impoverishment of the occupiers and invaders and their tools of mercenaries, traitors and agents.
The Federation of Southern Workers’ Unions called for broad participation in a million-man march to be held next Monday, February 24, followed by an unprecedented escalation phase that the occupied south will witness from sit-ins in front of revenue facilities and preventing the exit of revenues and in front of the gate of Maashiq Palace and comprehensive civil disobedience that paralyzes movement.
The angry popular protest demonstrations denouncing the economic situation in the occupied southern regions (Aden, Al-Dhale’e, Lahj, Abyan and Shabwa) continue with hundreds of angry citizens taking to the streets, blocking main roads, setting tires on fire, and removing banners and pictures of mercenary leaders in protest against the complete shutdown of the electricity system and the continued deterioration of the value of the national currency.
