Supreme Judicial Council Issues Guide To Inheritance Division Procedures

The Supreme Judicial Council has issued a guide for the procedures of inheritance division.

The guide includes all the steps that should be followed during the division of inheritances, starting from obtaining the death certificate to the distribution of the estate among the heirs, ensuring the swift resolution of inheritance division cases and guaranteeing the rights of the heirs, in accordance with Islamic law and the applicable regulations.

The guide also includes an appendix with sample forms for division procedures and simplified steps for executors, notaries, judges, and litigants to address any obstacles that may arise in inheritance division cases, both before and after the division process.

The issuance of this procedural guide aligns with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership and reflects the Judicial Council’s commitment to providing appropriate solutions to the delays in citizens’ cases.

One of its primary objectives is to simplify the inheritance division process in a clear and straightforward manner, ensuring it is easy to reference and follow.
