The Ministry of Youth and Sports in Sana’a condemned on Wednesday the US aggression on sports facilities in Hodeidah province.
The statement stated that the US airstrikes on Al-Ahly Club in the Al-Mina district in Hodeida highlight America’s inability and bankruptcy, which have led it to target civilians and sports infrastructure in Yemen in a systematic escalation against the capabilities of youth and athletes.
The ministry emphasized the importance of these facilities for Yemeni sports and youth, who still endure the effects of aggression on their sports infrastructure, noting the destruction of many stadiums, centers, and sports halls over a decade of Saudi-Emirati-American attacks on Yemen.
