Supreme Political Council Approves New Sanctions Law Targeting Aggression Perpetrators

The President of the Supreme Political Council issued Decision No. (68) of 1446 AH, enacting the Sanctions Regulation against perpetrators of aggression targeting Yemen or any Arab or Islamic country.

The regulation comprises 58 articles organized into six chapters:

Chapter One: Legal Basis, Title, and Definitions.

Chapter Two: Classification.

Chapter Three: Prohibited Activities.

Chapter Four: Sanctions and Violation Consequences.

Chapter Five: Licenses and Exceptions.

Chapter Six: General Provisions.

Article (58)—the regulation’s final provision—stipulates its immediate effect upon issuance and mandates publication in the Official Gazette (Arabic and English).
