In a statement, the ministry explained that the air defenses had destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones, including eight over the Rostov region and two over the Kursk region.”
Meanwhile, Ukrainian officials announced that Russia carried out an airstrike on the Mykolaiv region in southern Ukraine, leaving three people wounded and causing several fires.
The Ukrainian Air Force also announced today that its air defenses shot down 13 of 23 missiles and 40 of 109 drones launched by Russia overnight.
The military administration in Kiev reported that Russia launched a new wave of airstrikes on the Ukrainian capital, causing fires in the Darnytskyi and Obolon districts.
