Miftah Chairs Expanded Meeting To Discuss Simplifying Procedures, Services In Line With Leadership Directives

An expanded meeting chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Miftah was held today in Sana’a to discuss mechanisms for organizing, facilitating, and simplifying procedures and public services for citizens, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council.

The meeting focused on improving the delivery of public services—particularly in the areas of transport, construction, surveying, and urban planning.

During the meeting, the First Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of streamlining service procedures, noting that such measures would help alleviate the suffering of citizens amid the continued systematic targeting of civilians and infrastructure by the aggression.

“Facilitating procedures is part of our national duty and reflects the political leadership’s commitment to easing the burdens on our people,” he stated, urging all relevant bodies to adhere to the directives and work as a unified team to produce tangible outcomes.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Al-Madani called for the formation of a working group headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister and comprising the relevant authorities, to expedite implementation and achieve the outlined goals.

Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim affirmed the ministry’s readiness to simplify procedures and provide all necessary services to citizens.

He emphasized that this initiative falls within the government’s broader efforts to improve service delivery and meet public expectations, particularly during this challenging period.

Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment Eng. Moeen Al-Mahakri highlighted the importance of strengthening coordination between the various relevant entities to ensure effective and accessible service provision.

Meanwhile, Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Dr. Khalid Al-Hawali noted that his ministry has prepared a comprehensive report on services related to the public works sector.

He also outlined a series of training programs conducted in collaboration with the Sana’a Governorate aimed at advancing administrative performance and developing the public service system.
