Sirens sounded in Beersheba and the Negev regions in southern occupied Palestine in the early hours of Saturday following the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemen, according to enemy media sources.
Although the enemy military spokesperson claimed the missile was intercepted before reaching occupied Palestinian territory, viral social media footage showed the projectile streaking across the skies of Palestine, coinciding with the sounding of alarms and emergency alerts.
Israeli media stated that explosions occurred in BeerSheba and the Negev desert as occupation forces attempted to intercept a missile fired from Yemen.
They also released a map showing alarm activations across multiple areas, including the West Bank, Dead Sea, Jerusalem, and central occupied territories.
This marks the tenth missile launched from Yemen toward occupied territories since the beginning of April, though alarm sirens were only activated in BeerSheba and surrounding areas, according to the enemy media
They claimed that the absence of sirens in central and southern regions was due to the activation of early warning systems via mobile apps.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have not officially commented on these reports. However, Yemen has been intensifying its attacks against the Zionist entity in response to the ongoing aggression and genocidal war waged against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
