President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, sent a condolence message on Sunday to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian following the tragic explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.
In the message, al-Mashat extended his own and the Yemeni people’s heartfelt condolences to President Pezeshkian, the families of the victims and injured, and the Iranian people, wishing the wounded a swift recovery.
He reiterated Yemen’s solidarity with Iran, expressing confidence in the country’s ability to overcome the aftermath of the incident and rebuild.
Closing the message, President Al-Mashat shared in their grief and prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon the deceased and grant the injured a full recovery.
