Enemy Media: The Warhead OF Yemeni Missile Was Extremely Large

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the warhead of the Yemeni missile that struck Ben Gurion Airport was extremely large, noting that the explosion generated a powerful shockwave.

The missile bypassed four layers of air defense and landed in the heart of Ben Gurion Airport, creating a crater 25 meters deep, according to the Channel.

According to Israeli Army Radio, both the American THAAD system and Israel’s Arrow missile defense system attempted to intercept the projectile, but failed. Millions of Israelis reportedly sought shelter as sirens were activated.

Israeli emergency services confirmed that eight people were injured in the incident, including one person who sustained moderate injuries.

For its part, the Walla news site reported that the Israeli security and political cabinet meeting, which was scheduled to discuss expanding the ground operation in Gaza, was canceled following the strike on Ben Gurion Airport.

Opposition Democratic Party leader Yair Golan stated that “Once again, two million Israelis are rushing to shelters. This war must end, and the captives must be returned.”
