Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the airstrikes launched by the Zionist entity on civilian infrastructure in Yemen, including Sana’a International Airport, a power plant, and a cement factory.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei pointed to the escalation of the Zionist entity’s attacks on Gaza and the continued killing of defenseless Palestinian children and women.
He noted that the support of the United States, Britain, and some other European countries for this entity is a major factor in the continued violations of the law and crimes of the Zionist enemy in occupied Palestine, as well as in its repeated attacks on Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen.
He added that the United States and other countries supporting this entity are undoubtedly partners and accomplices in the crimes committed against the Muslim peoples of the region.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized that the military attacks launched by the Zionist entity on Yemen, and its targeting of the country’s economic infrastructure and public facilities, are undoubtedly war crimes and crimes against humanity.
They leave no room for doubt about the malicious intentions of the Zionist entity’s decision-makers and its supporters to subvert and weaken the countries of the region.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman pointed to the expansion of the Zionist entity’s aggression and expansionism throughout West Asia.
He considered the UN Security Council’s silence regarding the repeated violations of the fundamental principles of the UN Charter and international law to be irresponsible and inexcusable.
He called for serious action by the Islamic world to halt the aggression of this enemy entity against Islamic peoples.
