Al-Qassam Brigades’ Attacks In Rafah Leave Several Israeli Soldiers Dead, Injured

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas Resistance Movement, announced that its fighters engaged in fierce clashes at zero distance with the Israeli enemy soldiers and vehicles in the incursion area in the Al-Janina neighborhood, east of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.

In another statement, Al-Qassam indicated that, as part of the “Gates of Hell” series of operations, its fighters managed to target a Zionist engineering force of 12 soldiers who were preparing to carry out a bombing operation inside a house near the Al-Fida’i junction in the Al-Tanour neighborhood east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip with two anti-personnel and anti-armor shells, which led to a large explosion inside the house and the deaths and injuries of members of the force.

“Our fighters monitored the landing of a helicopter for evacuation.”

Later on, Al-Qassam Brigades announced that, As part of the “Gates of Hell” series of operations as well, its fighters managed to target a Zionist infantry force of 7 soldiers with a highly explosive device in the vicinity of Omar bin Abdul Aziz Mosque in the Tannour neighborhood east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.

“Our fighters observed the scattered remains of a number of occupation soldiers in the area.”

Following the operations, Israeli military censorship swiftly imposed a blackout on a security event in Gaza involving the collapse of a building and numerous casualties.

Israeli media had earlier reported a “serious security incident” in Rafah in which a building collapsed on Israeli soldiers, causing multiple injuries, some of them described as critical. The wounded were transferred to Barzilai Medical Center in Askalan.
