Foreign Affairs Ministry: Agreement To Stop US Aggression Is A Strategic Victory For Yemen

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed that the agreement to halt the US aggression, brokered through Oman, is an unprecedented strategic victory for Yemen over what is described as the greatest country in the world.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that after the US had attempted to stop Yemen’s support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, it was forced to halt its support for the usurping Zionist entity.

It indicated that the agreement reflects America’s abject failure to achieve its goals in Yemen, having failed to legitimize its aggression at the United Nations and implicate other countries in that aggression. Furthermore, it sought this agreement to escape the Yemeni quagmire and save face.

The statement praised the understanding of many countries around the world of Yemen’s position in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause, and in defense of justice and international law.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs ridiculed Trump’s claims, through which he attempts to cover up his failure and create the illusion of a false and illusory victory.

The statement commended the efforts made by our brothers in the Sultanate of Oman to reach an agreement to halt the US aggression against Yemen, as well as the role of the wise Omani leadership, represented by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, in supporting peace in the region and his tireless efforts to extinguish the wars targeting the region and its peoples, amid regimes’ attempts to ignite the flames of strife and implement the destructive agenda of enemies that target everyone.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Yemen’s continued religious, moral, and humanitarian stance in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza until the aggression ends and the unjust siege imposed by the occupying Zionist entity is lifted.

This position is constantly emphasized by Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi as a religious, moral, and humanitarian principle, along with the steadfast and struggling Yemeni people, at a time when everyone else has abandoned this role, having grown accustomed to humiliation and accepted subservience and submission.
