Media sources reported that violent clashes erupted between officers of the so-called Sixth Support and Logistics Brigade in the Amaer Al-Saleh area of Zinjibar, Abyan Governorate, resulting in a number of injuries among the brigade’s militias.
The sources indicated that the clashes erupted as a result of disputes between officers and commanders of the mercenary brigade over the division of proceeds from the sale of ammunition and weapons.
The sources reported that the clashes resulted in the injury of three officers: Fadl Muhammad Muthanna Al-Dhale’i “Abu Raad” – the so-called Chief of Staff of the Second Battalion; Kamal Al-Khanjari Al-Dhale’i – the brigade’s security officer; and Mahmoud Abdullah Al-Dhale’i – the brigade’s company commander.
The clashes occurred a day after mercenary Ali Nasser Al-Ma’kar submitted his resignation from the brigade’s command, creating chaos and discord within the brigade.
