The First Flight From Sana’a To Jeddah For Pilgrims Departs

The first flight carrying Yemeni pilgrims took off from Sana’a International Airport to Jeddah to perform Hajj this season.

This is the first flight in a Yemenia program to transport approximately 2,000 pilgrims to the Holy Land from Sana’a International Airport.

The process of transporting the pilgrims from Sana’a International Airport comes after the completion of official permits from the relevant Saudi authorities.

Sana’a International Airport Director Khaled Al-Shaif stated that, in the interest of the revolutionary and political leadership in facilitating the travel of the pilgrims, approximately 2,000 pilgrims will be transported directly from the airport to the Holy Land, given that only one plane is available.

He added that flights have been scheduled at two flights per day.
