An international Organization Warns From Militarization Of Aid To Gaza Strip

Trial International, a non-governmental organization dedicated to combating impunity for international crimes and supporting victims of these crimes, warned of the danger of militarizing aid to the Gaza Strip, calling on the Swiss government to ensure that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation does not violate international law.

The organization called for measures to ensure that the new aid plan does not pose risks to the population of Gaza, expressing concern about the use of private security companies to oversee aid distribution in the Gaza Strip.

The organization noted that the use of private security companies to distribute aid in Gaza carries the risk of militarizing aid, emphasizing that the United Nations and its organizations have sufficient experience in distributing aid in the Strip.

Israeli Army Radio reported on Sunday that the new aid distribution mechanism in the Gaza Strip will begin operating on Monday, in cooperation with private American companies.
