On Saturday, Palestinian journalist Yousef al-Nakhala was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his family’s home in Gaza City.
Palestinian sources said that al-Nakhala, a satellite broadcast engineer, was killed in the bombing of his family’s home in Gaza City.
Over the past 24 hours, Israeli forces have targeted dozens of homes and inhabited residential buildings with airstrikes, destroying the buildings and killing dozens of people, in addition to wounding hundreds of civilians, the majority of whom are children and women.
With the death of al-Nakhala, the number of journalists killed as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 2023 has risen to 221.
