Al-Houthi Reveals British Request For Yemen to Allow HMS Aircraft Carrier to Cross the Red Sea

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Al-Houthi, announced that the Yemeni government had been contacted regarding the transit of the British aircraft carrier HMS through the Red Sea.

In a statement, Al-Houthi confirmed that the Yemeni Armed Forces permitted the passage of the carrier on the condition that it is not engaged in any combat operations and maintains a non-hostile posture, particularly with regard to Yemen’s military actions in support of Gaza.

He emphasized that any deviation from a peaceful mission would alter Yemen’s position on the vessel’s presence in the region.
