Afar Customs Center in Al- Bayda Governorate thwarted an attempt to smuggle a quantity of electronic hookahs and their accessories.
Center Director Fahd Hazza explained that the seized quantity, 2,629 grams, was hidden inside a newly constructed safe in the trailer of the locomotive coming from occupied Aden and heading to the capital, Sana’a.
He praised the vigilance of the customs officers for their efforts and their ability to detect the smuggled quantity, stressing that the center will spare no effort in fulfilling its national duties and thwarting attempts to smuggle various goods.
