Iran’s Supreme Leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has stated that the recent Iranian attack on the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, a significant American military installation, was “no small incident” and inflicted damage.
In a statement posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, as reported by Russia’s Sputnik news agency, Khamenei asserted that Iran possesses the “ability to reach, whenever it wishes, important American sites in the region.” He further emphasized that the substantial Iranian strike is “repeatable.”
The leader’s remarks follow the recent conflict with the “Zionist entity,” which began on June 13 and saw the martyrdom of several senior commanders and nuclear scientists.
State-affiliated Iranian media on Saturday broadcast video footage showing Sayyed Ali Khamenei in his first public appearance since the commencement of that conflict.
