The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen has affirmed its solidarity with the People’s Republic of China, expressing support for the victims of recent floods that have impacted several regions of the country.
In an official statement, the ministry extended its deepest condolences to the friendly government and people of China. The statement noted that the disaster resulted in dozens of casualties and injuries, the evacuation of thousands of citizens, and significant damage to infrastructure.
Foreign Ministry also offered its sympathy to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery for the injured and the safe return of the missing.
