Governor of Hodeidah, Abdullah Abduh Atifi, on Sunday launched the mango export season for the year 1447H.
The launch took place in Bajil District, under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources and the local authority of the governorate.
Atifi emphasized the strategic importance of mango exports in boosting financial returns for the local agricultural sector.
He praised the role of the Tihama Development Authority in providing agricultural oversight and technical support to ensure the success of mango export operations and achieve maximum productivity for farmers.
Atifi explained that mango exports are carried out in line with the directives of the political and revolutionary leadership, as well as the guidance of the Supreme Agricultural Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture, and other relevant authorities to promote the export of local agricultural products, including mangoes.
