Venezuelan Media Commands Yemen’s Solidarity: A Courageous Stance The World Must Emulate

The Venezuelan Spanish-language news website “Kaos en la Red” stated that the stance taken by Yemen—specifically Sanaa—in solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela against hostile US practices, is an example of courage and moral consistency.

The website described the recent statement issued by the National Team for Foreign Relations in the Republic of Yemen, which condemned “the hostile practices of the United States against Venezuela,” as: “not just a diplomatic act; it is a powerful declaration of internationalist principles that the progressive world must listen to and emulate.”

In a report by writer , the website highlighted that the ability of Yemen, a nation facing a devastating humanitarian crisis and foreign military intervention, to extend the hand of solidarity to another sovereign nation, Venezuela, is proof of deeply rooted political ethics.

“Despite the devastating humanitarian crisis facing Yemen and foreign military intervention, its ability and willingness to extend a hand of solidarity to another sovereign state, Venezuela, is evidence of deeply rooted political ethics,” Luis Pérez Leira said in his report.

He added: “This gesture transcends mere words to become an example of courage and moral steadfastness.”

The report noted that the Yemeni statement is very decisive. It describes the American actions against Venezuela, such as the illegal closure of its airspace and military threats, as a blatant violation of national sovereignty and the most important principles of international law.

Pérez Leira continued: “The Yemeni statement does not suffice with a lukewarm condemnation, but rather places these actions within the context of a deliberate campaign of economic and political siege aimed at suppressing the free will of the Venezuelan people.”

“The core of this position lies in the fact that Yemen, as a victim of intervention and blockade, fully understands the nature of neocolonialism and hegemony. Its condemnation is not abstract, but stems from its personal experience of suffering the effects of coercive policies.”

Pérez Leira affirmed that Yemen’s position stems from its experience as a “victim of intervention and blockade,” which makes it fully aware of the nature of neocolonialism and hegemony. He sees the struggle of Venezuela as an integral part of the global struggle of free nations against these tools.

The report called on progressive governments around the world to adopt “Yemeni ethics” and strongly condemn any violation of sovereignty and international law, stressing that international solidarity is not an option, but a fundamental pillar of progressive foreign policy.
