The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that Russian forces had liberated the towns of Vysukuye in the Sumy region and Svetloye in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The Russian Defense Ministry stated in a press release, as reported by Sputnik, that “as a result of decisive operations, units of the Russian Northern Group liberated the town of Vysukuye in the Sumy region,” adding that “units of the Russian Center Group liberated the town of Svetloye in the Donetsk People’s Republic and continued to target and destroy enemy forces besieged in Dimitrov, Donetsk People’s Republic.”
