The Saudi-led aggression coalition carried out airstrikes targeting weapons and combat vehicles that had been offloaded from two vessels after they arrived at the port of Mukalla in Hadramout Province, eastern Yemen, without official authorization.
“This morning, the coalition’s forces carried out a limited military operation, targeting weapons and military equipment unloaded from two ships,” the aggression coalition’s spokesperson Turki al-Maliki said in a statement.
According to him, the vessels’ crews had disabled tracking systems and unloaded a lot of weapons and military hardware meant for the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).
He added, “Given the danger and escalation posed by these weapons… the Coalition air forces carried out a limited military operation this morning targeting weapons and combat vehicles that had been unloaded from the two ships at the port of al-Mukalla.”
He concluded by warning that the coalition will block any military support from any country.
