US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green criticized President Donald Trump’s statements regarding the United States’ readiness to support protesters in Iran.
Green wrote in a post on the X platform, as reported by the Russian news agency RIA Novosti and RT on Saturday: “The Israeli billionaire cybersecurity executive who is calling for the withdrawal of the First Amendment’s guarantee of free speech, and President Trump who is threatening war and sending troops to Iran, are exactly what we voted against in 2024.”
She added: “Trump’s voters spent the week threatening a tax revolution because they are furious about the waste, fraud, and misuse of their hard-earned money going to foreigners and foreign wars. The focus should be on tax dollars here at home, defending the freedoms and rights God gave us.”
