The United Nations World Food Programme said on Monday that the world cannot turn the page in Gaza and that the besieged Strip is still suffering from hunger.
The UN Programme confirmed in a post on the X platform monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that “77% of Gaza’s population still faces hunger at a crisis level,” stressing that “humanitarian aid remains essential for survival.”
It added that “more efforts must be made to ensure families can transition from the survival phase to the recovery phase” in the besieged Strip.
The ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip entered into force on October 10 last year, after a two-year continuous Zionist genocidal war, yet the Israeli enemy army practices daily violations of the agreement and still prevents the entry of the majority of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
