The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday that its air defense systems shot down 75 Ukrainian drones overnight over several Russian regions.
The ministry stated in a press release, as reported by Sputnik news agency: “Last night, from 11:00 PM Moscow time on January 20th until 7:00 AM Moscow time on January 21st, our air defense systems destroyed 75 Ukrainian drones.”
The statement added: “45 drones were shot down over the territory of Krasnodar Territory, 9 drones over the territory of Oryol Region, 7 drones over the waters of the Black Sea, 3 drones over the territory of Rostov Region, 3 drones over the territory of Crimea, 2 drones over the territory of Astrakhan Region, 2 drones over the territory of Bryansk Region, 2 drones over the territory of Kursk Region, in addition to one drone over the territory of Voronezh Region, and one drone over the waters of the Sea of Azov.”ض
