The commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, stated on Saturday that the unity and integration of the Iranian armed forces is the key to defeating the enemy in various crises.
The Iranian news agency Tasnim quoted Jahanshahi as emphasizing that coordination and integration between the army and the Revolutionary Guard strengthens deterrence, prevents the element of surprise, and expedites decision-making, particularly in joint and strategic missions such as border protection and national security.
He said that the army and the Revolutionary Guard, along with the security forces and the Basij militia, stand united in defense of Iran, its people, its religion, and the principles of its revolution, and will spare no sacrifice in this cause.
He added that raising the level of coordination and cooperation between the armed forces directly contributes to enhancing readiness, increasing the ability to confront threats, and thwarting the malicious objectives of the enemies.
Jahanshahi urged expanding this integration to include training, operational and intelligence fields in order to raise the level of effectiveness and joint action in sensitive circumstances.
