Hezbollah condemned on Monday the treacherous assassination of journalist Sheikh Ali Nour El-Din by the Israeli enemy, considering it an act that rises to the level of a war crime and adds to the enemy’s record filled with brutal crimes against journalists, civilians, and humanity as a whole.
In a statement issued by its media relations office, Hezbollah said, “The targeting of the martyred journalist Sheikh Ali Nour El-Din signals the dangerous escalation of the enemy’s attacks, now targeting the media in all its forms and manifestations, continuing its policy of systematic assassinations and attempts to silence the voice of truth and freedom.”
The statement emphasized that this “requires all journalists, the Lebanese Ministry of Information, media organizations, unions, and institutions, as well as political and intellectual figures, to take action and raise their voices loudly in all local, Arab, and international forums, especially human rights, legal, and humanitarian forums, to curb this Zionist barbarity.”
