China Urges US to Stop Interrogating Chinese Company Employees and Demands Compliance with Presidential Agreements

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian urged the United States to cease its unwarranted interrogations of Chinese company employees and to effectively implement the important consensus reached by the two countries’ presidents to ensure the maintenance of normal and friendly exchanges between the two peoples.

Lin explained at a press conference that US law enforcement authorities have repeatedly interrogated and detained individuals from Chinese companies for extended periods before repatriating them.
