The Shallala area, on the outskirts of the town of Aitaroun in southern Lebanon, was subjected to intermittent artillery shelling by the Israeli army, continuing its violations of the ceasefire agreement.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli artillery shelling coincided with a machine gun sweep from the Israeli-controlled Malkiya position towards the outskirts of the town.
