The Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club stated on Sunday that the Israeli enemy authorities issued and renewed administrative detention orders against 87 Palestinian detainees.
In a joint statement, they explained that the Israeli enemy continues to escalate its use of administrative detention under the pretext of a “secret file.” They noted that the number of administrative detainees constitutes the highest percentage compared to the number of prisoners held in pretrial detention, those convicted, and those classified as “unlawful combatants,” a number that has witnessed an unprecedented increase since the beginning of the genocide, reaching approximately 3,358 as of the beginning of February.
