November 16th, Chairman of the High Revolutionary Committee (HRC) Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi met with the Head of the John Ging, the Director of the Operational Division at OCHA
.
During their meeting, al-Houthi and Ging reviewed the humanitarian situation in Yemen due to the Saudi aggression and the crimes committed against all life structures, as well as, the discussed coordination aspects with the United Nations to provide humanitarian assistance in this regard as well as its role to stop the aggression and siege.
For his part, the UN official pointed out that there are many problems around the world but Yemen crisis are the worst, “I did not come here to give excuses for any failure but I came for a purely important humanitarian mission”.
He called for overcoming the crises in Yemen for Yemenis deserve freedom, peace, safety and security in order to live a life free from violence without suffering.
“We affirm that the United Nations is present here in order to help Yemenis and we’ll not stop trying to do more and more to tell the world that whatever we do is not sufficient when looking at the needs of the Yemeni people,” Ging said.
