The UN special envoy to Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, announced that the coming peace talks in Kuwait aimed to reach a final agreement to end the aggression on Yemen .
“The situation in Yemen is getting more difficult, and the numbers of victims is indescribable,” the special envoy said in a press conference in Brussels with Federica Mogherini the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
Ahmed stressed the need to guarantee the cease-fire in Yemen and it must be preceded by Kuwait’s talks, and the arrival of aid to the various provinces.
Mogherini said that peaceful solution In Yemen is to serve the interest of middle east . She called all political parties to obligate to the peace talks and open a new page.
Mogherini confirmed that the European Union support ceasefire and peace talks and indicated that the European Union will provide humanitarian aids to support the political solution in Yemen.
