Mr. Nayif Al-Qanis Yemen ambassador in Syria met South Africa ambassador Shaun Binfield in Damascus where they presented a number of regional and international issues .
Al- Qanis presented the Yemeni situation and the conspiracy on Yemen started from the failed national dialogue and the outputs of peace and national partnership agreement .
“The Saudi aggression aimed to the failure of the National Dialogue outcomes with the support of the united nations,” he added.
The ambassador said that Saudi led coalition and its allies imposed a total blockade on Yemen with a great silent of the international community except some nations.
“we are confident of South Africa position and condemnation of the aggression on Yemen , because South Africa suffered injustice , long wars and paid a heavy price, but at the end South Africa with its leadership achieved a victory, and Yemen will,” he said.
The south African ambassador to Syria confirmed his country’s support for Yemen, ” we are confident that Yemen will achieve victory, and we hope that the price of victory will be less expensive. We, in South Africa, definitely stand along with the Yemeni people.”
