July 19th , the spokesman of Ansarullah and the head of the national delegation Mohammed Abdusalam said in an interview with al-Maydeen channel “unfortunately consultations did not back to the zero point but it goes back to beyond that.”
“This is a very serious indication and we cannot accept it ,because the UN envoy presented totally different issues against our previous agreement,” he added.
He described the issues presented by UN envoy as a contrary to what have been agreed upon, “this is a coup of UN envoy and the other party.”
Abdusalam confirmed that the solution should be in a political framework, the solution in Yemen must be political and it also must be comprehensive.
“we discussed the presidency issue and formation of government, it came in the UN briefing for the UNSC, as well as came in the statements of UN envoy to Yemen “there is a formation of national unity government” , indicating we as national delegation did not provide roadmap , however the summary of the UN envoy statements before departure reflected to what we have reached” Abdusalam added
“what we have done in seventy days must continue today from the point we stopped . Eid holiday came to impose on us this stop because it is a chance to escape from what had been agreed on” spokesman of Ansarullah said.
He also clarified that the outcomes of consultations confirmed that Riyadh delegation did not have any direction toward peace and our dialogue is not with Riyadh delegation but with the international community, “ the one who make a limited time for consultations is the one who wants to fail it.”
He added that we should not west our time with the representatives of Saudi Arabia in Yemeni Peace Talks but with those who concerned , they are Saudis .
Abdusalam stressed that KSA does not want a clear political solution without playing role in it , “ KSA demanded us to stop attacking their areas , we told them this will happened after stopping the airstrikes on Yemeni … Saudi Arabia wanted the other party to do what have been agreed when it does not commit to the agreements .
“ Saudi side must be aware of if they keep on their airstrikes on Yemen , there can be no truce in the border” Abdusalam said .
