Stephen O’Brien, UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator started, today, its visit to Yemen to view the humanitarian situation caused by the escalating war for more than a year and a half.
The Emergency Relief Coordinator will meet authorities and officials in Sana’a and see first-hand the situation of internally displaced families and others who urgently need humanitarian aid.
His visit will continue for two days (2-4 October).
