The official spokesman of Ansarullah, Mohamed Abdulsalam, said that the UN Security Council is responsible for the continuation of the Saudi-American aggression on Yemen and its continued unjustified blockade and airstrikes , which had aggravated the situation of millions of the Yemeni people.
“Every time the UN Security Council discusses the issue of Yemen, it should come up with statements encouraging the coalition of aggression to continue its raids and blockade, which will exacerbate the tragedy of millions of our people, and eliminate any hope of a political solution that will end the war, and bring peace that guarantees the sovereignty of Yemen and the dignity of the Yemeni people,” he said in his statement.
Mohamed Abdulsalam confirmed that the Yemeni army and popular committees have the full right, legitimacy to respond to the Saudi-led coalition by all possible means, based on the guaranteed right of the Yemeni people and the rest of the people on earth to defend themselves in the event of an aggression that threatens their present and future.
“t he UN Security Council – which is empowered to be concerned with the maintenance of international peace and security – must realize that the coalition of Saudi Arabia, UAE, their allies and the American support with all different types of weapons in front of the eyes of the whole world, threatens international peace and security”, he added.
Abdulsalam also said that the deterioration of the health situation and the aggravation of the tragedy of millions of Yemenis as a result of the spread of the deadly epidemics like Cholera is a sign of disgrace put on the forehead of the international community that praises humanity and human rights.
The official spokesman of the Ansarullah movement accused the forces of the Saudi-led coalition of disrupting the political dialogue because they are launching an aggression, imposing a comprehensive siege, banning the functionality of Sana’a International Airport, and preventing the disbursement of salaries for state employees, while it bargains it with surrender of the Yemeni people, giving up their dignity and abandoning their land, and that is what cannot be accepted under any circumstance.
