The supreme political council on Tuesday extended the presidential term of Saleh al-Samad and his deputy Kasim Labozah to two new terms in the presidency.
All council’s members approved the continuation of Saleh al-Samad as the head of the Supreme Political Council and Dr. Qassim Labazah as deputy of the Council for two new presidential terms.
The Council discussed the latest developments in the national ground of the current period the Saudi aggression. It also reviewed the article 30 of its internal regulations issued by Council Resolution No. (2) Of 2016 for the presidential term of the Supreme Political Council.
The Council stressed that this extension reflects the satisfaction with the performance of its current presidency under the aggression and its complexities.
