The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday repelled Saudi-backed aggression mercenaries’ infiltration in Asir province, a military official told Saba News Agency.
The official said that the militias tried to advance towards east of Majaza area, to restore positions they lost on Wednesday’s attack, but were foiled by the Yemeni army forces.
Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and injured during their attempts to make progress on the ground, the official added.
