Transport Minister Saleh al-Jabwani in Bin Dagher’s authority loyal to the Saudi-led coalition aggression said that they have no security authority and control over the international airport in Aden.
“We have no control over the airport from a security standpoint,” al-Jabwani said in a press statement on Sunday.
The airport is controlled by Aden Security forces and those forces loyal to the United Arab Of Emirates (UAE) occupation forces.
The UAE-backed forces have fully taken control over the city of Aden except for “Ma’ashq” palace the residence of the outgoing President and his government.
Al-Jabwani accused the United Arab Emirates of acting against Bin Dagher’s authority in the city of Aden before tensions escalated between the two sides.
Earlier, the UAE-Backed “Shabwani Elite forces” prevented Hadi’s minister from opening a project for a seaport in southeastern of Yemen.
The UAE is the second major ally in the Saudi-led coalition aggression on Yemen since March 26, 2015.
