The Ministry of Fish Wealth held a press conference on the crime of targeting the fishermen near the island of al-Sauwal in the province of Hodeidah on Monday, which killed 12 fishermen and wounding 4 and the loss of four others .
At the press conference, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Fish Wealth for the sector of traditional fishing Bashir Al-Khaiwani revealed the total losses of the fish sector in the Red Sea as a result of the bombing of the coalition, which amounted to five billion and 643 thousand dollars .
The head of the General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea Abdul Qader al-Wadai said that the number of victims of coalition aviation from the fishermen increased after the crime of yesterday to 213 dead and 204 wounded and four missing. The press conference called on the United Nations , the Security Council and international organizations working on the humanitarian side to take an official position on this crime and the previous crimes against the fishermen and hold the perpetrators accountable as crimes against humanity .
