Yemenis hold mass rallies marking four years of steadfastness against Saudi-led aggression

Millions of Yemeni people in the capital Sana’a and several other provinces like Saada, Taiz, Ibb, Bayda, Jawf and Rimah have staged mass rallies on Tuesday, marking the passage of four years of steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of the US-backed Saudi-led aggression.

Sabaeen square in Sana’a has witnessed a mass rally in which people gathered from different districts of the province. A number of provinces surrounding the capital had similar manifestations.

Participants raised flags of the Republic of Yemen, banners of freedom and slogans, pictures of the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, as well as pictures displaying the martyrs and results of crimes committed by the Saudi-led aggression.

They also raised signs of freedom reflecting the sacrifices and steadfastness of the Yemeni people in the face of aggression.

The participants chanted slogans such as “Death to America! Death to Israel!”, and “Never retreat, our steadfastness is as sturdy as the mountains” as the voices of the crowds cheered with slogans of freedom.

In the event, the Head of the Supreme Revolutionary committee, Mohammed Ali al- Houthi has affirmed that Steadfastness of the Yemeni army and popular committees through over the four years of Saudi-led aggression on Yemen is a victory, emphasizing that the Yemeni people will gain the upper hand.

“Our faith in victory came from our just cause”, addressing US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, al-Houthi said the Yemenis’ steadfastness in face of the brutal aggression is a victory.

He added that the wide popular participation by Yemenis in the rallies on Tuesday is a message to the world that Yemeni people don’t give up.

He also hailed the heroes who had bombed Tel Aviv and enemy’s settlements, stressing that Yemeni people are standing along with Palestinians.

Regarding Trump’s recognition of Israeli’s sovereignty over Golan Heights, he said, “Trump’s decision on the occupied Golan Heights as someone gives what he does not have to those who are not worthy.
