International reports have surfaced stating that the United States, Israel and their allies in the region are increasingly concerned about Yemen’s drones.

The Yemeni army’s Air Force and Popular Committees have intensified their recent attacks on Saudi military and vital installations in response to the ongoing aggression and crimes against the Yemeni people.

According to a Reuters report, current and former U.S. security officials and analysts have said that the increasing use of drones in the Middle East, particularly in Yemen, is a strategy aimed at countering pressure from the United States and its allies such as Saudi Arabia and Israel.

In its recent report to UN experts, Reuters reported that the Yemeni army, backed by the Popular Committees, now have drones capable of dropping larger bombs at farther distances and more precisely than ever before.

In May, Yemeni drone attacks hit two oil pumping stations hundreds of kilometres inside Saudi territory.

The report included a comment by an American drone expert and a US army veteran, speaking on the army’s offensive against Aramco.

“Either the drones that attacked the pipelines were launched from inside Saudi territory, or the Yemeni army has significantly developed its capabilities with satellite technology and technique to extend the range,” the speaker was reported as saying.

Drone warfare has been used to great success by the defenders of Yemen, whom have used it in retaliatory strikes against Saudi, Emirati and mercenary targets both within Yemen and far beyond its borders.
