Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) said on Sunday that a “Dobra” ship arrived on Sunday at the port of Hodeidah carrying 25,993 tons of gasoline only covers the needs of citizens for five days.
The company stated in a statement, Saba got a copy of it, that the release of this ship, that has been detained by the Aggression coalition for 118 days, does not represent a solution to address the crisis of oil derivatives or to end its manifestations, but it is one of the methods used by aggression to inflict the greatest damage and suffering on millions of Yemenis.
The company’s statement confirmed that the Aggression coalition is still holding 16 ships, including two diesel tankers, two domestic gas ships, and 12 “gasoline and diesel” ships. The maximum detention period reached 126 days for varying periods.
The statement indicated that the coalition aggression countries’ continued detention of oil ships causes heavy losses and fines incurred by the Yemeni citizen. It added that these abusive practices are part of conspiracy schemes and punitive measures against millions of Yemenis.
