Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor took part on Wednesday in a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Human Rights on the occasion of International Human Rights Day under the slogan “Building back better”.
The Prime Minister delivered a speech on this occasion, which coincides with the 72nd anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in which he praised the management of the Ministry and all its bodies for their efforts to keep pace with all human rights activities in Yemen.
Despite the lack of material resources in the Human Rights Ministry due to the continued aggression and all-inclusive siege, the ministry does important work and reports within the framework of its specialties, the premier said.
Bin Habtoor added, “What concerns us is to raise the complaints of the Yemeni people abroad, including the professional and technical report prepared by the Ministry, in addition to political and media reports.”
The government is keen to support this important ministry concerning the Yemeni people and their rights, as well as all parties concerned, to strengthen their activity and expose the reality of the aggression and its brutality to the world, he said.
