Air Defenses shot down a drone, Karayel, operated by Saudi Air Force in Al-Jawf Governorate. The spokesman of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said that the Air Defenses targeted the drone with undisclosed missile while it was carrying out hostile actions in Yemeni airspace.
Brigadier General Saree pointed out that that the targeting and shooting process is documented by the Military Media.
This aircraft is the second of its kind to be shot down, as the Air Defenses managed to shoot down a Karayel spy plane operated to the Saudi regime in Hodeidah governorate at the end of 2019.
The Air Defenses shot down on the 21st of last month a CH4 unmanned combat reconnaissance aircraft operated by the US-Saudi aggression in Marib, with a suitable missile that has not yet been revealed.
