Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtoor on Sunday met with Foreign Minister , Eng. Hisham Sharaf Abdallah.
Meeting discussed the general performance of the Ministry and its diplomatic activities related to resumption breaking the diplomatic blockade and conveying the voice of the Yemeni people and their just cause to the international community and its active forces, in addition to the Ministry’s plan for 2021.
Prime Minister listened to a brief explanation from the Foreign Minister about the Ministry’s work plan for 2021 and the program of communication and follow-up that the ministry is implementing, which is directed towards many brotherly and friendly countries and Governmental and non-Governmental bodies in the international community concerning the Yemeni issue.
Foreign Minister noted that in light of his follow-up of many Government officials and international political circles at the end of last year 2020, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which began the attack on Yemen and formed the aggressive coalition, is the one who takes the direct responsibility now to make the actual steps and measures to end the aggression and to tackle its consequences on the ground. And the population in Yemen, in addition to Yemen’s relations with the international community, which have been harmed as a result of the aggression.
Prime Minister affirmed the support of the Supreme Political Council and the Government to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’s moves and plans despite the difficulties created by the political siege and the attempts of the aggression coalition over the past years to distort the image of what is happening in the areas that resist in Yemen .
At the same time, he praised the efforts and follow-up of the diplomatic and administrative staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who stood with the nation and the people facing the Saudi-Emirati aggression machine that failed to achieve its goals.
