Marib governor strongly condemned on Thursday an attack on dozens of gas and oil tankers by mercenaries of US-Saudi aggression in Al-Arqeen area in Abidah Valley.
Ali Mohammed Toaiman said in a statement the aggression militants bombed with tanks and artillery the areas of Abidah tribe, targeting a position containing 30 tankers loaded with gas and fuel. The targeting led to the burning of the tankers and serious damage to citizens’ property, he added.
The governor pointed out that the Islah militants are provoking the tribes of Marib, restricting freedoms, stirring up problems, looting property and destroying equipment to serve their interests that increase the suffering of the sons of the province.
Toaiman held the coalition and Islah militants fully responsible for the deliberate attack against gas tankers, villages and populated areas in the province.
