Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e has confirmed on Sunday evening that “the army forces were able to confront wide advances of Daesh and UAE mercenaries towards our positions in Ain district. Despite their intense air cover, they did not make any progress.”
He went on to say, “The enemy has been dealt a blow to its personnel and equipment, with more than 120 of them killed or injured, and about 12 armoured vehicles destroyed”.
“The missile force attacked large gatherings of the enemy with four ballistic missiles; the strikes were accurate, resulting in a large number of dead and wounded,” the Yemeni Army spokesman concluded.
